Our story

Where it started
The starting point was Alio Kobalia’s Mingrelian–Georgian dictionary. Since then it has been reworked and expanded far beyond the original.

Built by the community
People and AI have added new words and expressions and Georgian and English lookup words.

Community moderation
Anyone can already correct a word, record its pronunciation or report a mistake, right from the search results, without an account; every change is checked before it appears. Next comes a review page where everyone takes part: others vote on each change, and the votes decide whether it appears in the dictionary.
